The My Essentials Advantage Plan offers a one time loss, damage, theft claim on reconditioned hearing instruments. This coverage is only available for hearing instruments up to one year from the delivery date.

Enrolling reconditioned or foundation aids into the Advantage Plan

The process is like any other enrollment in our system (Enrolling a new my essentials patient) and the only difference is found on the third page of a new enrollment.

Simply enter the aid information as you normally would and be sure to mark the aid as Used/Reconditioned aid.

Once the aid is marked correctly the system will automatically set the warranty expiration to one year from delivery date. The plan selection dropdown will then show the Legacy Advantage or Advantage plan. The Legacy Advantage plan is a early version and will be phased out when the Advantage plan policy is made available.

Please refrain from changing the warranty expiration date as it will cause issues and likely render the policy invalid.
